After five years living and performing in San Francisco, soprano Sarah Fletcher is thrilled to be back in her native Pacific Northwest and to rejoin her beloved Seattle Opera community.

Sarah has performed and studied extensively for more than 20 years. Her most recent credits include the role of "Vitellia" in Mozart's La Clemenza Di Tito and "Dido" in Purcell's Dido & Aeneas. She also played "Mercedes" in an acrobatic, one-of-a-kind performance of Carmen while living in San Francisco.

Sarah has a degree in musical theory from the University of Puget Sound and has studied in Austria and Los Angeles. She has also worked privately with the renowned Sherri Greenawald.

When not performing, Sarah is an adjunct professor at Bellevue College, a yoga instructor, and spends as much time as she can outdoors with her one-year-old pup, Benny.
