Sarah Fletcher is a dynamic soprano whose career spans more than two decades of operatic and concert performance. This spring she will appear with Tacoma Opera and Chorus, singing arias and duets from Tosca and Norma on February 15, and will debut the role of Dr. Tam O’Shaughnessy in Dana Kaufman’s new opera about Sally Ride, commissioned by Low Brow Opera in Seattle.

Her recent stage credits include Maria Callas in La Callas (Puget Sound Concert Opera), Freia in Das Rheingold (Tacoma Opera), Vitellia in La Clemenza di Tito (Symphonia Caritas), Dido in Dido & Aeneas (Bay Area BACH), the Mother in Hansel and Gretel (NOISE), and Mercedes in an innovative aerial production of Carmen in San Francisco (San Francisco Opera On Tap). As a member of the Seattle Opera Chorus she has performed in productions such as Tosca, Les Troyens, Turandot, Fidelio, the 60th‑Anniversary Gala, and Speight Jenkins’ Farewell Gala. She has also appeared as a soloist on 98.1 KING FM’s Northwest Focus Live with Seattle Opera On Tap and at a Pacific Northwest Opera gala.

Sarah earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Puget Sound and refined her craft internationally at AIMS in Graz, Austria, with OperaWorks in Los Angeles, and through master teachers and coaches from San Francisco Opera and Seattle Opera.

Beyond the stage, Sarah holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University. She integrates expressive arts, somatics, and wellness into her group‑practice work, grounding her voice studio and therapeutic approach in creativity, embodiment, and empowerment. As the new board secretary for Puget Sound Concert Opera, she also manages and performs with Opera On Tap Seattle, bringing music to venues across the Seattle area.
