SARAH

"… a far darker soprano, like steamy coffee stirred with a dollop of cream ..."

Crosscut Magazine

In fall of 2025, she will appear as Freia in Tacoma Opera’s October production of Das Rheingold, and in December will star as Maria Callas in La Callas, a new opera by Clint Borzoni and Elizabeth Coppinger, presented by Puget Sound Concert Opera, where she also joins the board this year. You can also find her managing and performing with Opera On Tap Seattle monthly at various venues around the Seattle area.

Sarah’s past roles include Vitellia in La Clemenza di Tito, Dido in Dido & Aeneas, Mother in Hansel and Gretel, and Mercedes in a one-of-a-kind aerial production of Carmen in San Francisco. She has performed in the Seattle Opera Chorus for productions such as Tosca, Les Troyens, 60th Anniversary Gala, Turandot, Fidelio, Speight Jenkins’ Farewell Gala, and recently appeared as a soloist on 98.1 KING FM’s Northwest Focus Live with Seattle Opera On Tap, as well as at a gala for Pacific Northwest Opera.

In addition to her musical work, Sarah holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology (MACP) from Bastyr University, integrating her background in the expressive arts, somatics, and wellness into her group practice work. Her voice studio and therapeutic work are rooted in creativity, embodiment, and empowerment.

She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Puget Sound, and has trained internationally at AIMS in Graz, Austria, with OperaWorks in Los Angeles, and with master teachers and coaches from San Francisco Opera and Seattle Opera.
